Gunther Steiner won't have to worry about any smashed doors today as Haas secured a third-row start for tomorrow's race, with Kevin Magnussen and Mick Schumacher qualifying in fifth and sixth respectively. The Haas team manager is aware of what needs to be done in the race tomorrow.

"First of all, we need to finish because we didn't do that in the last races. At least with one car, we didn't," he told Sky Sports, before adding, "we need to finish and try to keep the positions."

The wet weather is not expected for the race tomorrow, however, Steiner made it clear that the cold and wet weather could play into Haas' hands, "if it's cold, it seems like we can get the tyres to work. In FP3, we couldn't make the intermediate tyres work, we made changes to the car and it worked. I'm pretty happy for the whole team."

Confidence and calmness key for success

Steiner emphasised the need to be ready and calm in order to succeed and that was shown today by both drivers, which is something he is happy with. "I think just staying calm and executing, not making mistakes is why the whole team did a great job. The drivers knew what to do. We know that we aren't bad in the wet just got it home with both cars this time."
