Red Bull Racing draws attention with major aero upgrade at Silverstone
- GPblog.com
Mattia Binotto feared it: Red Bull Racing has indeed come to Silverstone with a significant update. The first photos have now emerged of the RB18, on which Adrian Newey has once again let his talents loose.
Red Bull in the spotlight with upgrades
The RB18 features a new, narrower hood that differs significantly from its predecessor. This is a significant aerodynamic update, which should improve airflow to the rear wing and make the car even more aerodynamically efficient than it was before.
It seems that Adrian Newey has once again done a great job. Red Bull Racing's Chief Technical Officer is arguably the most successful Formula One designer ever and specialises in aerodynamics, which is where the RB18 has excelled so far.
