The RB18 needs to go on a diet again. According to Auto, Motor und Sport Red Bull Racing's car is ten kilograms overweight again due to recent upgrades. This could also explain their problems in Austria.

It was a major setback for Red Bull Racing when Max Verstappen failed to win the Austrian Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc and also Carlos Sainz had much more pace than the Dutchman. At Red Bull they have no idea why their pace suddenly disappeared. Christian Horner tells AMuS there are three options. "The lower temperature on Sunday. The full tanks or the rain that washed away all grip Saturday night.'' The 2022 cars are very sensitive and it could be that Red Bull ended up outside the 'window' due to any of those factors.

However, the German medium reports another problem for Red Bull. According to the medium's sources, the car is a lot heavier than it was before. The RB18 is said to be ten kilograms above the lower limit due to updates. The RB18 is ten kilograms over Ferrari's weight limit, as F1-75 is said to be at 798 kilograms.
