Perez wants to bounce back in Hungary GP: 'It was a frustrating weekend'

Sergio Perez had a less than successful weekend in France. He was unable to find his rhythm and missed out on a podium finish. For Hungary, it will be a case of finding out where the problem lies and how the Mexican can come back strong.
"It was a frustrating weekend for me in France," Perez began in a Red Bull Racing press release. "I didn't feel like I had the pace I wanted and wasn't fully comfortable with the car." He adds that he and his team are working hard to find out where things went wrong at Circuit Paul Ricard.
Perez disappointed in France
As well as the disappointing pace, the late virtual safety car came at a particularly bad time for Perez. There was a communication problem at the restart, so no one really knew when he could get back on the gas. "It was a shame we lost the podium. The VSC came at the worst possible time for us and the issues with it impacted me at the restart," continued the Mexican.
He now wants to put the previous race mainly behind him and so the focus is fully on the Hungarian Grand Prix. Perez will be looking to improve his result in the last race before the summer break and return to the level Red Bull Racing has usually shown this season.
