Lance Stroll's father and billionaire Lawrence Stroll has said that he's really proud of his sons' performances in the F1, saying that he's been very good given the tools he's been handed by his team.

Stroll (son) managed to grab the only point Williams has scored this season, as he finished tenth in Baku. The British team are in last place when it comes to points total, as even Sauber have managed to get more points under their belt.

"Considering the performance of the car this year, he [Lance] has been doing an amazing job," Stroll senior told Motorsport.com.

"Even though he can't do better in qualifying with this car, he does really well on the first lap."

Stroll has beaten his teammate and rookie Sergey Sirotkin in every race so far, which is more reason for his father to be excited.

"Besides that, he beat others too that should be unreachable with this car, so from that angle we can only be happy."

In conclusion, Lawrence Stroll restated that he's proud of his son, while also mentioning the lacking performance of the Williams for about the 100th time.

"A better car would help, of course, but he does very well with the tools he has."
