The first Las Vegas Grand Prix next year promises to be iconic. To stay in one of the grand hotels and watch the race, however, you have to dig deep in your wallet.

The Formula 1 cars will race down the world-famous strip of Las Vegas next year. It is a night race, so it will undoubtedly provide beautiful images. So, the hotels around the strip think this is worth a hefty price, according to the Sports Business Journal.

100,000 dollars

Bill Hornbuckle, CEO of MGM Resorts, recently told that his company plans to buy tickets for the race for 20 to 25 million dollars. With that, it will be possible to create packages that include a hotel room plus a ticket. His expectation was that tickets would be in great demand and that rooms could cost three times the normal rate. The most expensive packages could even be $100,000.

Meanwhile, the hotels have started promoting the race. It is possible to register for tickets at MGM Resorts, Wynn Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment. The race will probably take place on 18 November 2023, but that has not yet been confirmed by the Formula 1 organisation.
