"I expect a big Max Verstappen party at Zandvoort".

Max Verstappen will start this week with a good feeling at the Zandvoort circuit. With his victory in Belgium last weekend, he increased the gap with the competition and that gap might only increase during the Dutch Grand Prix. Timo Glock is impressed by the performance of the Dutchman.
"It's a combination of further development and Max Verstappen, who is doing incredibly well," assesses Glock at Sky Sports Deutschland. "That's why I don't think he will give up the reins. With a 98-point lead, a lot would have to go wrong for him not to win the title."
Unconditional support for Verstappen
All Formula 1 teams still have eight race weekends to go, making the challenge for Charles Leclerc to compete with the reigning world champion ever greater. At the Zandvoort circuit, the Monegasque seems to have a good chance of taking the top spot.
The Ferrari car is expected to perform well on the Dutch track. According to Glock, however, there are also other things that are more to the disadvantage of the Italian formation, such as the support Verstappen will receive from the spectators.
"I expect a big Max Verstappen party at Zandvoort," the former Formula 1 driver let us know. "From Thursday to Sunday the Dutch will carry him in their arms. I can well imagine that he will continue his victory lap there."
