The Italian Grand Prix delivered an impressive race this season. While all eyes were once again on Ferrari and Red Bull Racing, the other teams were also very much in evidence on the track. How are the teams judged on their performance?

Red Bull Racing | 8.5

Red Bull Racing was once again the big winner of the weekend. The Austrian team saw Max Verstappen take victory, making him the strongest driver for the fifth time in a row. Although Sergio Perez finished in sixth place, partly due to a grid penalty, the team was very satisfied with the final result. Moreover, it once again picked up the fastest pit stop.

Ferrari | 7.5

Ferrari hoped for victory in front of all the fans at Monza, but it became clear early in the race that this would be unfeasible. Charles Leclerc was still allowed to start from pole position, but Verstappen was able to get closer at lightning speed and eventually win by a wide margin. With Carlos Sainz also in the top five, Ferrari collected a lot of points. However, the desired victory was far away.

Mercedes | 8

Mercedes feared the weekend would be tough for the team. The German team's car seemed to fall short on the long straights and fast corners. Nevertheless, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell managed to finish in the top five, with the latter even ending up on the podium. Mercedes thus surprised not only themselves, but also the competition.

McLaren | 5

McLaren will be looking forward to the end of the season. Where the formation hoped at the beginning of the calendar year to fight with the top teams for victories, it turned out to be a year in which it must fight for the points. Lando Norris took seventh place, but Daniel Ricciardo, who crashed out, again failed to impress.

Alpine | 5.5

Fernando Alonso has been a frequent points winner for Alpine this season. In Italy, the Spaniard was well on his way to do his team a good service, but during the race he had to withdraw due to problems with his car. Esteban Ocon stayed outside the points with an eleventh place, so Alpine could look back on a disappointing GP.

AlphaTauri | 5.5

Pierre Gasly fought hard in the midfield on behalf of AlphaTauri and was good for eighth place in the driver's field. This proved to be a difficult task for Yuki Tsunoda, who finished no further than fourteenth. The Japanese driver did not have a happy race and fell short of the competition. However, with Gasly's points AlphaTauri still managed to secure a result.

Aston Martin | 3.5

Aston Martin saw Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll start from 11th and 12th respectively. However, the weekend ended dramatically for the team. Both drivers crashed out with engine problems, leaving Aston Martin empty handed once again. Vettel was forced to retire after just ten laps.

Alfa Romeo | 5

Guanyu Zhou fought hard to finish in the points, but Ricciardo's retirement moved him up a place. Knowing that Valtteri Bottas had to settle for a place outside the points, Alfa Romeo could therefore be satisfied with the weekend.

Williams | 7

The most happened last weekend in the Williams team. Alexander Albon suddenly had to cancel, giving Nyck de Vries the chance to prove himself. While Nicholas Latifi again remained far outside the points, De Vries's limited preparation time did not stop him from grabbing two points. A permanent seat for him for 2023 seems to be within reach.

Haas | 5

Haas was unable to impress in Italy. For Mick Schumacher and Kevin Magnussen, Q3 was already difficult enough in qualifying. Due to some grid penalties, they moved up a bit on the starting grid, but the points in the race remained far away. The Dane even crossed the finish line as the last leader, so the Americans have to focus on the next race soon.
