Verstappen drives with 'special helmet' in Mexico

Max Verstappen drove a new helmet after winning the world title in the Japanese Grand Prix two weeks later in the United States and Mexico he will do the same. The Red Bull Racing driver is proud of the new design he will be racing with this weekend.
Red Bull and Verstappen have both won the world titles together this year, which prompted the design of this new helmet. The 25-year-old Dutchman tells this on his own website.
“This is this year’s final helmet reveal and it is definitely a special one. We went for some extra gold, after winning the drivers and constructors championships. For the remainder of the season I will be driving with this helmet, which is decorated with gold leaf. That made it extra special and with the white around it, it looks really cool. This world championship helmet has a special meaning, as it is a special year for everyone at Red Bull. It’s a season to remember for sure.”
