Norris does enjoy sprints: 'Great opportunity to get high up on the grid'

There are only two Formula 1 races left this season, and the Brazilian Grand Prix is the next stop. Lando Norris is looking forward to a return to Interlagos, which has proved a successful circuit for him in the past.
Norris goes for revenge in Brazil
Norris always finds the Brazilian circuit a great place to race. "The mixture of the history with the brilliant fans makes it such a great atmosphere. I’ve finished in the points both times I’ve raced here so the plan is to keep the streak going," he looks ahead in a McLaren press release.
Unlike his good friend Max Verstappen, who is by no means a fan of sprint racing, Norris actually sees the sprint as an opportunity. "With the Sprint this weekend, it's a great opportunity to get as high up the grid as we can for Sundays lights out whilst hopefully picking up a couple of valuable extra points. We’re in the final stretch of the season so we’re giving it everything we’ve got," said the McLaren driver.
In the Mexican Grand Prix, Norris had to beat his teammate Daniel Ricciardo, a rarity this season. Both McLaren drivers finished in the top ten, making up important points on Alpine, which is fourth in the championship.
