Friday night in for the FIA gala Bologna, Saturday already back in Milton Keynes. The English city is home to Red Bull Racing's factory. To celebrate the world titles with locals, Milton Keynes will be doing a demonstration run on Saturday.
The centre of Milton Keynes will be transformed into a racetrack. Team boss Christian Horner is looking forward to the festivities on and around the temporary track. “Yes we are going to celebrate in the hometown of the factory and of course there are strict speed limits, there are speed cameras so 30MPH will be respected at all times, as we run the cars through the middle of the town and I think there will be a great turn out", he said.
Mateschitz
Horner expects a big turnout in the city. "It’s great for the factory and great for the fans of the team and again for Red Bull to celebrate in what’s been a historic year for us particularly with the passing of Dietrich Mateschitz, I think we should recognize his contribution to the sport, I’m sure we’ll see across the different championships tonight in all categories Red Bull cars that have been supported and backed and I’d just like to contribute to him and what he’s done for not only F1 but motorsport globally and recognize his contribution to everything that we are and that we’ve managed to achieve.”
