F2 team Carlin gets new title sponsor and new name

Team Carlin will now be known on the track as Rodin Carlin. The team, which races in Formula 2, announced via a press release that it had found a new title sponsor in Rodin Cars.
Carlin races in several championships, including IndyCar, Formula 2, Formula 3, and has also raced in Formula E in the past. As part of the so-called feeder series, Carlin has produced several big names. Among others, Sebastian Vettel, Lando Norris and George Russell have driven for Carlin before entering Formula 1. Just last year, Carlin finished second in Formula 2 with Liam Lawson and Logan Sargeant as drivers.
Rodin Cars is a New Zealand car manufacturer. The company already sponsored Carlin in 2022, so it has now extended the partnership. It was also a specific sponsor of Red Bull junior Liam Lawson. Nothing will change within the Carlin organisation, according to the press release.
'We have the same obsession'
In the press release, chairman David Dicker stated they have high hopes for the future. "Trevor [Carlin] and I share the same ambitions and having seen first-hand what the team can already achieve, being part of the driving force for the future is extremely exciting. Trevor and I have an obsession with performance and competition that will cement the place of the Rodin Carlin team at the front in the coming seasons."
The Formula 2 season will kick off simultaneously with Formula 1 in Bahrain on the weekend of 4 and 5 March. Rodin Carlin will be on the track with Enzo Fittipaldi and Zane Maloney.
