De Vries pictured smiling with Verstappen and Norris at Mediterranean Sea

Nyck de Vries was told last Tuesday that he drove his last race for the AlphaTauri team in SIlverstone. After that, things remained quiet around the Dutchman for a long time, but now a picture has appeared on Instagram showing him enjoying himself in France with Max Verstappen and Lando Norris, among others.

It had been hanging in the air for a while that De Vries's chances would be lost, and so last week the nightmare became a reality. Daniel Ricciardo was designated as the replacement after he proved himself during a Pirelli test at the Silverstone circuit.

Despite the news being a huge bummer for the Sneek-based driver, a picture has emerged showing him smiling in the sea in the French resort of Cap Ferrat. Check out the picture below:
