Lando Norris managed to win the hearts of British fans with his second place at Silverstone. Clearly, the McLaren car has taken a step forward in terms of performance. However, the Briton is not yet satisfied with the handling of his car, he is quoted as saying by Motorsport-total.com.

That the McLaren car had made strides did not escape the men at the top of Formula 1 either. Among others, Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff made themselves heard after the race about the speed of the Woking-based team. Not only did Norris manage to score good points for the stable, but rookie Oscar Piastri was also close to a podium with fourth place.

Norris critical of driving

Despite the good performance at Silverstone, Norris is still critical of his car: "For me, the handling of the car has not improved at the moment, despite the upgrade we got. It's still just as difficult to drive, but just as difficult to do qualifying laps with it."
