The broadcast rights will last until at least the conclusion of the 2026 Formula 1 season. The highlights show/British Grand Prix on Channel 4 is currently presented by Steve Jones and he is most frequently joined by former drivers Mark Webber and David Coulthard. Alex Jaques is the lead commentator on Channel 4 and Lee McKenszie can often be heard interviewing the drivers and key personnel within the paddock. Alice Powell, Eddie Jordan and Billy Monger are also part of the team.

As a one off, Channel 4, Sky Sports and the Formula One Management agrred a deal to broadcast the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix live. The title deciding race between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton drew so much attention that it was felt free-to-air TV was required for the event.
