Verstappen has Zandvoort-surprise: Dutchman drives with special helmet
Max Verstappen will drive at Zandvoort with a special helmet. In just under two weeks, the F1 season will resume with the Dutch Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver is happy about his new helmet design, he announced on his social media.
"As you can see, the helmet is pretty Dutch, what a surprise," Verstappen says with a wink. The two-time world champion clearly shows the colours red, white and blue in the design. Verstappen says he wanted to do something more with the Dutch flag this time, instead of the orange."[Hence] the flag on the top with the lion."
Special helmet for Max
It is not the first time the 45-time race winner has tailored his helmet design to a Grand Prix. "I hope it looks good on the track and that you guys like it," concluded Verstappen.
