He's known as one of those drivers who is masterful in the rain, but Red Bull's Max Verstappen hasn't been that good in wet conditions this season because of his car - but he's not allowed to say why.

When it started to rain in Hungary during qualifying, all eyes automatically turned towards two drivers: Lewis Hamilton and Verstappen. They're the two guys who were going to fight for pole position. Hamilton did, as he ran away with pole, but Verstappen was nowhere near the Brit to many people's astonishment. That's because according to reports, the RB14 does not like the rain, and it performs worse than it should do in wet conditions.

"I'm not allowed to say much on that," Verstappen said on his own website.

"We know that there are a few reasons why the RB14 is less comfortable in the rain compared to last seasons.

"What I can say is that the main problem is on the floor of the car, and we will and must find a solution for that next season."

That's a bummer, but they at least know why the car's behaving the way it is.

In a general sense, though, the Dutchman is happy with the RB14, apart from its behaviour in the wet.

"Especially on street circuits you could see [how good the car is this season], mainly because the engine isn't as important there.

"Whether that'll be the same next season is hard to predict.

"The new front wing will have a great effect on our downforce, so we'll see by then."
