Andretti Autosport get new name: Andretti Global

US team Andretti Autosport, which operates in several motorsport championships, will from now on go through life differently. Andretti Autosport's Formula E team is the first part of the organisation to go through the name change. The US motorsport organisation has also been aiming for a spot in Formula 1 for some time.
Andretti Autosport gets new name
The US motorsport organisation in eight motorsport platforms spread across six continents. One of those platforms is Formula E. The new season of the electric racing class starts in October this year and this will be the first racing class where the new name will appear. For all other platforms, this will only start to change next year.

This rebrand is a major milestone in our team’s journey, but we are only getting started. Andretti wants to go to Formula 1
Andretti Global wants a spot on the F1 grid for a long time already. This will then happen with a partnership with General Motors under the name Andretti-Cadillac. The US team has applied to the FIA to appear at the start of Grands Prix with its own team from 2026 onwards. Tens of millions have already been invested in the project.
