The Belgian Grand Prix lived up to its recent reputation with a mix of wet/dry conditions. Similar wet/dry conditions were experienced in the Netherlands. The Italian Grand Prix featured hot and dry conditions. Of course, the heat and humidity will only intensify at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
What is the weather forecast for the Singapore Grand Prix weekend?
According to weather.com, there is a slight chance of rain on Friday. However, the highest probability (18%) is stated for the morning when F1 cars do not run in Singapore. Temperatures are set to remain high even after sunset. It is predicted to be around 30 degrees Celsius. The first practice starts at 17:30 local time when there is just a 2% chance of rain. The humidity will be at 63%. The same chance of rain remains as the night progresses into FP2, though humid conditions will improve slightly.
A similar picture is forecast on Saturday, meaning qualifying is likely to dry. On Sunday, thunderstorms are forecast for the morning, with a 46% chance of rain. But it seems like it will dry out for the race in the evening.
