With seventh and eighth places for the Mercedes team, one can speak of an anything but good weekend. The team is still only four points ahead of Ferrari in the constructors' championship, and looking purely at form, the Italian team looks set to go over that in Abu Dhabi. Speaking to Sky Sports, Toto Wolff shared his opinion.

"It's sad to say, yet another time that we had pace, but no result." The Austrian feels it was soon done for George Russell: "George, I think after the incident with the penalty, that was pretty much game over." As for Wolff, there is still a lot to fight for in Abu Dhabi: "We've seen pace-ish today. I think we hope we can recover and score solid podiums.."

Vegas fanatic Wolff

Toto Wolff was very clear in his opinion about the race weekend in Las Vegas and even went on a rant to journalists. But the weekend is not quite how Wolff would like to see it: "I think I wouldn't change a lot. I would change qualifying, maybe. Take it from midnight to when the race starts at 10. Other than that, I think it was a perfect event. There's nothing to say."
