Verstappen took pole position for the F1 Grand Prix of Australia on Saturday. The Dutchman was faster than Carlos Sainz, who surprised by emerging as the fastest Ferrari just after his operation. Verstappen is wary of the Ferraris of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc. They already showed good pace this weekend, while Red Bull have struggled to find the balance.

If Verstappen does manage to win in Australia, it would be his 10th victory in a row, equaling his own record from 2023. He also won ten races in a row, up to the Singapore Grand Prix. After Singapore, Verstappen continued to win, and the counter is already at nine.

In addition to Sainz and Leclerc, the McLarens are also very fast at Albert Park. Lando Norris starts from third place and showed a very strong long run on Friday. However, from P5, his teammate will want to do everything he can to get on the podium in front of his own fans and in the city where he was born.
