Lewis Hamilton was summoned to the stewards after the conclusion of the second free practice. He has been summoned for an allegedly impending Alexander Albon.
Hamilton did not have a good FP2 session. He mainly stayed in the bottom 10, not playing a prominent role during the session. The session was dominated by both McLarens with Max Verstappen and Hamilton's teammate Leclerc behind them. Despite Leclerc ending in fourth position, Hamilton was unable to get higher than 13th.

Can Hamilton expect a grid penalty?

During the session, Hamilton was involved in an incident with Albon. Albon was going through corner 17 at a high speed and had to use his quick reflexes to narrowly avoid Hamilton. Albon then got on his radio and said that it was dangerous. Albon sounded visibly shaken over the team radio.
While the chances of Hamilton being given a grid penalty are slim, it could still happen. However, the FIA is likely to fine or warn him.
