George Russell was ecstatic after securing pole position for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver will start Sunday's race ahead of Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen, and McLaren's Lando Norris. To celebrate his achievement, Russell re-enacted his iconic intro pose.

Russell's 2023 intro pose has been described as 'iconic' and has been used for a range of memes on social media too. He has admitted that on shoot days the drivers are asked to complete a range of poses, and this is the one that they chose for the intro titles in the end for last season.
