The British Grand Prix forms the third and final part of the current triple-header in Formula 1. Lando Norris gets the chance to get revenge on Max Verstappen in front of his home fans at Silverstone. But what will the weather be like? 

Weather forecast for the British Grand Prix

A real battle seems to have broken out during the Austrian Grand Prix. For many laps, Norris attempted to overtake Verstappen. A crash eventually ensued, with both drivers suffering punctures. Verstappen eventually finished fifth, and Norris had to park his car in the pit lane. So, the stakes for the British Grand Prix are huge for both drivers. It will also be the last time Lewis Hamilton races for Mercedes at Silverstone.

Chance of rain on Friday

The first two free practice sessions will be held on Friday. Earlier in the week, rain predicted but it seems like the rain will fall either side of the practice sessions. According to Weather.com, there is only a 13% chance of rain in FP1 and a 11% chance of rain FP2. Besides, it will not be warm at the track either. The temperature is estimated at 17 degrees. The heavy rain is expected to start at 19:00. There is a 68% chance of rain at that time, so the track will be green on Saturday.

Also slight chance of rain during qualifying and race

There is a chance of rain on Saturday, but it might be sunnier. In fact, the chance of rain is estimated at 30 per cent but it is forecast to be 'few showers'. Furthermore, the temperature will be around 14 degrees.

The points will be distributed during the race on Sunday. Once again, there is a chance of showers. Currently, the chance of rain is estimated at 70 percent. The maximum temperature is estimated at 16 degrees.
