Max Verstappen was in much the same state throughout the Hungarian Grand Prix: angry. From start to finish, nothing went right for the Dutchman, who also needs to be examined after his collision with Lewis Hamilton. The Red Bull Racing driver had a sharp reaction to that, as we have come to expect from him.

Verstappen: 'Let them look at the stewards'

During the Formula 1 race at the Hungaroring, Verstappen could be heard furiously on Red Bull's onboard radio on more than one occasion. He complained about his car, his rivals and his team's strategy. To make matters worse, he collided with Hamilton in the closing stages of the race, who dismissed the moment as a racing incident.

Verstappen made quite a bang when he was launched by the Mercedes wheel. Both drivers were able to finish the race, although it cost Verstappen a place. For the Dutchman, however, the incident still has repercussions - he has to give explanations to the stewards and must also be examined by a medical representative.

He was told the latter by his race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase after the end of the race. "I hear that the medical delegate has to look at you and examine you in the parc fermé," said Lambiase. This is followed by a cynical reply from Verstappen: "We can send the medical delegate to the stewards' office so they can look at them."
