George Russell found himself in a worrying situation during the second practice session at the Dutch Grand Prix. During FP2, in the pit lane, the Briton thought he went over a Mercedes engineer's leg. Luckily, that was not the case.

During the first 20 minutes of the session at the Zandvoort circuit, Russell entered the pit lane, and after his Mercedes engineers made some adjustments, he left immediately.

While exiting, he Briton went over something: "I hope that wasn't someone's foot I ran over there," he commented over the team radio. Luckily, similarly to when he thought it was raining in Barcelona because he was sweating, Russell was wrong. He was close to the Mercedes engineerbut it was a cone he ran over.

After the red flag, Russell returned to the track, and on his first run on the soft tyres, he jumped up to P1 in the session.
