'Norris splits from model girlfriend Margarida Corceiro'
Lando Norris has reportedly split from Portugese model Margarida Corceiro. It comes after Norris calmly stated on the main stage at Zandvoort "If I do I need a girlfriend and I don't have one".
Norris and Corceiro had been spotted at numerous events over the past 12 months, including at the Monte-Carlo Masters final in April, and the Monaco Historic Grand Prix. Neither of the involved couple have posted any official update about their time together on social media.
According to The Sun: "Lando and Margarida had a fun time together and hung out a lot. But it wasn’t working out so they cooled off. He’s free and single and just wants to focus on his sport.”
Norris has a slim chance of fighting Max Verstappen for the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship. He cut his gap to 70 points with a win at the Dutch Grand Prix. There are nine Grand Prix weekends remaining.
Norris always denied relationship
Lando Norris faced Sky Sports F1's lie detector in the build-up to the Miami Grand Prix, and was asked about his relationship status. Simon Lazenby asked Norris "Do you have a girlfriend?", to which Norris responded "No". The lie detector confirmed this to be true, and Lazenby went further, asking "Do you have many girlfriends?", which Norris answered "Yes" whilst laughing.
The Portuguese actress kept a low profile after Norris' win in Miami. Corceiro was born in October 2002 and is a Portuguese actress and model. She has been involved in several television shows and has 1.8 million followers on Instagram. She recently posted a picture of a table that looked set for a date night. This picture was posted around the same time she was photographed sitting next to Norris watching tennis.
She previously dated footballer Joao Felix, who has played for Benfica, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona and recently returned to Chelsea. The star has 37 caps for Portugal. Their relationship is said to have ended in May 2023.
