Max Verstappen did not like
Lewis Hamilton's driving at the start of the
Italian Grand Prix. The
Red Bull Racing driver felt he was given too little space and hinted via team radio at a penalty for the
Mercedes driver.
Verstappen, who had to start from seventh place after a disappointing qualifying from the Austrian
Formula 1 team, had a moment with his old rival at the start. The Dutchman complained about Hamilton's behaviour over Red Bull's team radio.
"Lewis didn't leave a car's width. I was penalised for that as well, so...," Verstappen told Gianpiero Lambiase.
