Verstappen and Norris arrive in Baku: Title rivals fly together
Ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, drivers are now arriving in the capital city of Baku. Max Verstappen has also arrived this Wednesday, together with his title rival Lando Norris and also Nico Hülkenberg.
Even as the two are competing against each other to win the 2024 world championship, Verstappen and Lando Norris did make their way to Azerbaijan together on the Dutchman's private jet. Nico Hülkenberg also joined the two, and unlike in Austria where the German also travelled with the Dutchman and Verstappen was late to the press conference, they arrived safely in time.
With eight weekends to go, Norris has a 62-point gap to the Red Bull driver in the drivers' standings. However, in the constructors' championship, McLaren have the chance to overtake the Austrians, as the gap between the two teams only stands at 8 points.
