RUMOUR: Ferrari's 2019 car to be named SF90
- Nicolás Quarles van Ufford
One day ahead of the official presentation, reports from the Italian branch of Motorsport.com have come out that Ferrari's 2019 challenger will be called the SF90, celebrating the 90th birthday of the Scuderia.
Another thing to come out of the report is that the SF90 (if that is actually the name and not just a working title) is that the air vents have been made more narrow to improve the aerodynamics of the car.
The air intake on the side of the car is smaller because the bonnet of the car, which inhales a lot of cooling air as well. The backside of the airbox, the air vent above the cockpit, should also be slimmer.
Ferrari news often leaks out before anything has been revealed officially, but we'll have to wait until the unveiling tomorrow morning to see whether these reports are true.
