Ferrari may have struggled in recent times, without a world title since 2007 and once again faltering when Mercedes turned up the heat, but with there new motto there is a sense of unity.
Ferrari unveiled their fresh car for 2019 which includes a matte finish, alongside their new motto
“Essere Ferrari” which means
“we are Ferrari”. "Essere Ferrari' is something very special and unique," John Elkann said at the team’s car reveal.
"The story started 90 years ago, thanks to the insistence of our founder Enzo Ferrari, who was driven by his passion for racing and winning, which is deeply rooted in Ferrari.
"Ferrari is always about pushing things forward, finding smart solutions to challenges that challenge, and it's about making things all together.
“Essentially, 'essere Ferrari' means being a team,” added Elkann.
Ferrari have appeared a somewhat divided team in recent years but with the arrival of Mattia Binotto, the team appear to be starting afresh with a new team spirit.
"It means being proud of a team that unites a whole country and represents the best of Italy.
“We will be celebrating our hundredth anniversary soon, so we really want to win, we all have to win together, we're a team.”
