Horner puts his arm around Perez with chassis change explanation

Sergio Perez had a disastrous weekend in Mexico. This weekend he is driving a different chassis in a bid to improve his performance. Christian Horner elaborated on Perez's situation in a conversation with Sky Sports.
Perez has struggled with the car before this season, but he had his worst weekend in front of his home fans. The Mexican finished only 18th in qualifying. An incident with Liam Lawson and a blunder on the grid prevented him from completing a recovery race.
Horner supports Perez after poor weekend in Mexico
After free practice in Brazil, Horner said, "We're doing our best to try and help rebuild his confidence. He had a horrible weekend in Mexico. We've changed his chassis this weekend. It's an older chassis that we've put him into just to give him that, hopefully, extra boost of confidence."
The Red Bull Racing team boss continued, "Sergio is a seasoned campaigner. He's been around long enough that he knows that this is a results-based business. He knows that this season has been under par for him. Nobody's more acutely aware of that than Sergio but we're doing our best that we can to support him."
