Lawson shares secretive update on future: 'Have a steer'
It is still unclear what the driver line-up within the Red Bull family will look like during the 2025 Formula 1 season. Will Sergio Perez continue to be Max Verstappen's teammate? Despite Perez having a contract with Red Bull for the 2025 season, his future is in doubt. If Red Bull decides to make the change, the question then becomes: what are Red Bull's options? Lawson and Tsunoda are currently driving for Visa Cash App RB, Red Bull's sister team. But there are also rumours about Red Bull trying to sign Williams driver Franco Colapinto.
What does Lawson's future in F1 look like?
Lawson said in Las Vegas: "I have a steer, let’s say, but obviously the expectation on us is high and the season’s not done yet. So as much as there’s indication of what they’re wanting me to do and what the future holds, I don’t have anything confirmed right now".
"So for me, it’s just focusing on these races ahead. This weekend’s the most important right now, and then that’ll shift to next weekend. So I’ll have a clearer picture after the season," the New Zealander continued.
