Norris struggled in Vegas, says it was "a terrible weekend"
- Savannah Lenz
Lando Norris did not have a good weekend in Las Vegas. After officially losing the championship, he had a few things to say about next year, but not before he explained his issues.
Trouble in paradise for McLaren? Lando Norris thinks so. Ferrari managed to outplace McLaren with both of their drivers. This comes as a hit to their bid for the constructors' championship.
Norris can't seem to catch a break
Not only did Lando Norris lose out to Max Verstappen for what could have been his first world title, but his team also lost out to Ferrari. McLaren is currently leading the battle for the World Constructors' Championship, but if their struggles continue, they may not be leading for much longer. In an interview with ViaPlay, Norris said, "It's been a terrible weekend."
"We're slow; the tyre degradation is terrible. Many things [are] not good enough and not at a good enough level from us". Norris continued on by talking about the championship he had just lost. Which he admitted was because his car "wasn't [fast] at the beginning of this year".
"We lost the championship in the first part of the season. That's where we lost it, not at any other part of the year".
