Today's
Formula 1 action kicks off with the sprint race from the
Qatar Grand Prix.
Lando Norris starts from pole position, with
George Russell joining him on the second row.
Oscar Piastri starts from third, with the
Ferrari's of
Carlos Sainz and
Charles Leclerc in fourth and fifth respectively. Newly crowned four time world championd champion

What has happened so far this weekend?
Ferrari looked incredibly quick after the first and only practice session of the weekend, after Leclerc topped the session by four-tenths. The McLarens finished second and third, with Norris ahead of Piastri. Carlos Sainz and
Yuki Tsunoda rounded out the top five.
In Sprint Qualifying, Norris topped all three sessions with ease.
Sergio Perez suffered another SQ1 exit finishing P16, with Tsunoda, Ocon, Zhou and Colapinto also out in the first part of the session. In SQ2,
Fernando Alonso narrowly missed out on SQ3, finishing P11. Alex Albon and
Valtteri Bottas could only qualify in P12 and P13, respectively, with Alonso's teammate
Lance Stroll only good enough for P14.
Kevin Magnussen was bottom of the second session in P15, while teammate Hulkenberg was able to make it through to SQ3.
Norris managed to beat Russell to pole, with Mercedes still showing their pace from Las Vegas. Behind Max Verstappen in sixth was
Lewis Hamilton, with
Pierre Gasly,
Nico Hulkenberg and
Liam Lawson rounding out the top 10.
