F1 Full Results | Abu Dhabi Qualifying: McLaren one-two puts the team in great position

McLaren can enter the final Grand Prix of the season on Sunday with a smile on their face. The British team secured a front low lockout in Abu Dhabi, while Carlos Sainz finished in P3.

While Max Verstappen seemed to be in good shape, the Dutchman could not improve on his final lap, and finished in P5, also behind Nico Hulkenberg. George Russell finished in P7, while Valtteri Bottas finished in ninth position driving his final Grand Prix for Kick Sauber.

Charles Leclerc got eliminated in Q2, and finished in P14. He will start from the last position on the grid, because he already had a 10-place grid penalty. Lewis Hamilton was also eliminated early on, after he finished in P18 in Q1.
