Max Verstappen still has to wait just under two months for the start of the Formula 1 season. However, in the world of sim racing, he is competing again. This Saturday, he is taking part the 24 Hours of Daytona with Team Redline in iRacing. And you can watch the race live.

Last week, Verstappen participated in his first sim race of the season. The Red Bull Racing driver was a wildcard in the last race of the IMSA Esports Global Championship. At that time, the Dutchman caused controversy by crashing into the leader in the championship, a Williams car. The competition, including a car from Team Redline, was ultimately unable to take advantage and so Verstappen's slip was not a decisive factor in the championship.

After his stint, Verstappen admitted that he overbraked himself and was therefore unable to avoid his competitor. "It was my mistake," said the Dutchman. Eventually, the four-time Formula 1 world champion got into another incident, which meant that he and his teammate only managed twelfth place in the race.
