More rumours around Aston Martin, pictures of Max Verstappen luxurious yacht, and three teams to have a filming day on the same day in Bahrain! GPblog brings you the best news of the day from the world of Formula One, together with an exclusive interview with singer Per Gessle!

This driver would by replaced by Verstappen

Yesterday, the Daily Mail reported that Aston Martin are targetting to sign Max Verstappen. The Silverstone-based team are already advertising to sponsors that the Dutchman would join according to the British medium, and they would achieve that by giving him a £1 billion deal. If that would happen in 2026, something that was denied by the British team themselves, a driver would have to give his seat up. According to rumours, that driver would be Lance Stroll.

Meanwhile, Verstappen is spending his time doing different things. It was reported that a superyacht was delieverde to the Dutchman in Viareggio, and he will take part in the 24h of Daytona sim race. Check out the photos of boat purchased by the Dutchman here!

Recently, Jacques Villenueve shared his verdict on Yuki Tsunoda. According to the 1997 world champion, by the end of the 2025 season, the Japanese driver's career will also end. See our analysis of Tsunoda's situation here!

In the end, Isack Hadjar will be Tsunoda's teammate next season, after Liam Lawson was chosen to replace Sergio Perez at Red Bull Racing. Franco Colapinto was also rumoured to join the Red Bull family, but the Argentinian driver eventually ended up at Alpine, becoming their test and reserver driver. Colapinto's manager talked about why a move to Red Bull did not materialise.
