McLaren hints at all-new livery for 2025
McLaren could very well be driving a whole new livery next season. The British racing stable posted a picture of a 'stealth mode' racing suit on Thursday morning, appearing to hint at their 2025 car's new livery's colour scheme, which will be officially launched in London next week.
McLaren's Formula 1 team has been busy teasing on social media in recent days. On Wednesday night, for instance, it was revealed that an important message or announcement would follow on Thursday. The mysterious social media posts caused considerable speculation, although a few observing fans had already realised that it might be a racing suit.

And indeed, at half past 11, a picture was posted of Lando Norris in a dark racing suit with orange accents, with the caption: "Stealth Mode activated." While McLaren has not yet confirmed that this is actually the racing suit for 2025, this does seem to give the team a clear hint already about the livery for next season. Will McLaren get a stealth mode livery this year?
Looking at McLaren's recent social media activity, it just might. The Woking-based team's most recent posts all consist of the same colour combination of dark grey/black and McLaren's traditional orange. Whether this is actually the case will have to be seen on Tuesday 18 February, when all the cars are launched at F175 in London.
