During the week of the 2025 Japanese GP, Max Verstappen, Liam Lawson, home-favourite Yuki Tsunoda and Isack Hadjar will do the showrun at the Tokyo Bay. The cars announced for the event are the RB16B (the Dutchman's first title-winning car in Formula 1) and the Honda RA272. The rest of the cars present will be announced later.
Honda's collaboration with Red Bull begin in the 2019 season, with the Japanese building the engine until 2021, and then they helped the Austrian's Red Bull Powertrains project. Their time together comes to an end this season, as their next Red Bull Powertrains power unit will be built in collaboration with Ford, while Honda are set to supply Aston Martin.
Previously, a showrun took place in Japan back in 2019. Then, it was hosted at the Icho Namiki in Meiji Jingu Gaien.
