Herbert on why he was fired

Johnny Herbert has spent the past few years working as a steward on a voluntary basis. However, this year he will not be making an appearance at the track as one. In January, it was announced by the FIA that Herbert will no longer continue being a steward. He now speaks out about why that was.

Herbert told CasinoApps.com he was let go as his "duties as an FIA steward and that of a media pundit were incompatible". Herbert also said, “Two days before I was eventually given the sack over the phone, I’d been told all was good for 2025. Then it wasn’t." Before the FIA released their statement, he had been confirmed as a steward for the Austrralian Grand Prix.

Marko on Red Bull Racing’s test results

Speaking to Motosport-Magazin.com, Helmut Marko said, "Things are going well. But McLaren are at the same level," After losing out to McLaren and Ferrari last year, Red Bull Racing is looking to get back on the top of the charts. Liam Lawson is a new feature in the Red Bull lineup as he will join Max Verstappen for his first year in the team. After looking at the testing results, Marko said, “There is still some fine-tuning to do, but in principle it's fine." Liam Lawson ended his last testing session in P7 on the Thursday, while Verstappen finished his last testing day in P2.
