Verstappen: Vettel "clearly outbraked himself"
Max Verstappen says that Sebastian Vettel "clearly outbraked himself" in their crash that spoilt both of their races at Silverstone in the British Grand Prix.
Verstappen had battled earlier with Vettel's teammate Charles Leclerc and had just got past the German when he was hit in the rear entering Club corner.
The Dutchman said after the race: "Racing (with Leclerc) was very hard and aggressive - that was good.
"It was looking good (with Vettel). I went for it round the outside - and then got rear-ended. He clearly outbraked himself. We already spoke to each other; he apologised, so what can you do? Happy to finish fifth."
