Wolff on Schumacher's records: "Hamilton is on track, but ..."
Lewis Hamilton won his 80th race in Sunday's British Grand Prix and he moves closer to his sixth Formula 1 world championship title. He has serious competition from teammate Valtteri Bottas who sits 39 points behind.
Hamilton is slowly working his way towards the title of 'GOAT' (greatest of all time). He's chasing Michael Schumacher seven titles and Toto Wolff believes Hamilton can do it because of his mentality.
"If you are as talented and hardworking as Lewis and end up with a leading team at the right time, you will be in a good position to achieve success," Wolff argued against Speedweek.
“But what Michael has achieved is the highest good of a very different life from previous achievements. That makes it unique. It won't be easy, but I think Lewis is on the right track. He still has some victories and titles to go before he passes Michael's track record," says Wolff.
