Alex Albon is set to replace
Pierre Gasly at
Red Bull Racing with the Frenchman dropping down to
Toro Rosso after just half a season.
Red Bull made the announcement on their Twitter confirming the reshuffle. Albon has impressed at Toro Rosso in his rookie season prompting the already under fire Gasly to be replaced.
Gasly has struggled to compete at Red Bull since making the step up for the 2019 season but he was expected to keep his place until at least the end of the season. However Red Bull have taken action during the mid-season break.
Albon will step up to Red Bull for the
Belgian Grand Prix whilst Gasly will return to Toro Rosso.
