Villeneuve comes sixth with Xbox controller, Button wins virtual race

Jensen Button won the virtual All-Star race on Saturday night. The Englishman had to compete against another world champion Jacques Villeneuve. The Canadian became sixth while playing with an Xbox controller.
Button drove a Brawn GP car, the car with which he so surprisingly became world champion in 2009. The All-star race had quite a few veterans of Formula 1. Juan Pablo Montoya, who often competes on the sim, came second. With the victory, Jensen Button wins $10,000 which is nicely donated to charity. Button admitted to Reuters that he was nervous.
"It was very nervous. I was also more nervous for this race than a real race, probably because at every corner you feel like you're going to crash."
Villeneuve makes strong debut
The man who recently commented on virtual racing also participated on Saturday night. Jacques Villeneuve came sixth while he had to start the race last. The Canadian uses an Xbox controller instead of a steering wheel for racing, which perhaps makes his performance more impressive.
Due to a massive crash at the head of the field at the beginning of the race, Villeneuve was able to find his way to the front, with a sixth place in the end as a reward.
