Perez: "It's probably the last year in F1 for Vettel"

Not everyone sees Sebastian Vettel driving another team in 2021. After the announcement of the end of the contract at Ferrari, there were many stories about the future of the German in F1. However, Sergio Perez expects that Vettel will not be seen in Formula 1 after next season and will leave the sport.
"During the lockdown he probably realized how everything is going now and that helped him to think about his future", the driver of Racing Point told Autosport. "It depends on how badly he wants to continue. His options for another team could be McLaren, for example, but I'm not sure".
"It could be his last year in F1"
Perez thinks that Vettel had his best time and that there's nothing to do but get out of the sport. "It's probably his last year in F1. I think that he is closer to quitting in F1, than to joining a new team". Of course the Mexican doesn't know what the options are for Vettel. "I don't know what's going through his head at the moment. I can only see it from the side."
The Mexican sees that the likely replacement of Vettel, Carlos Sainz, deserves to go to Ferrari. "He's had a great season with McLaren and in the end in Formula 1 it's all about the moment and the chances you get now," Perez said.
