In 2021 there will be a film about the life of the iconic team boss Enzo Ferrari and it is possible that Hugh Jackman will take on this role. The man who became known mainly in his role as the Wolverine, should start filming in the spring, Variety reports.

The new film, which will be directed by Michael Mann, focuses entirely on the life and business of Enzo. In 1957 Ferrari is far from stable due to financial problems and is criticized by the Vatican. In addition to the team's problems, Enzo also loses his son Dino at the age of 24.

Director on duty Mann, has been working on the project for some time and should go into production from next year. Mann has previously directed Hancock, Public Enenmies and Collateral, among others. He has also worked in sports before, with a film about Muhammad Ali and productions such as Miami Vice and Heat.

It's not the first time Ferrari has been featured in a film. A biopic of Ferrari was already released in 2003, when Enzo was played by Sergio Catellitto. In that respect, racing has been popular on the big screen in recent years. In 2013, for example, the film Rush was released and people saw 2019 Ford v Ferrari.
