Leclerc: "In the race we'll be faster than in qualifying"
Ferrari qualified for the Hungarian Grand Prix in fifth and sixth place. As crazy as it sounds, that's a boost for the team that struggled to make it to the top ten last week and the drivers who knocked each other off the track during the first lap.
"It does feel a little better," Charles Leclerc said in his first reaction afterwards. "Fifth and sixth isn't bad indeed and I think our racing speed is a bit faster than our qualifying speed, so hopefully we can score a lot of points for the team tomorrow."
Fewer straights favour Ferrari
"It was a difficult session for my part, I had some trouble in Q1 and Q2, but that got better in Q3. But I'm glad we're on the third row of the grid with the team." The Monegasque wants to make some changes to his car for tomorrow.
"This track doesn't have a lot of straights and at the moment we are a bit faster in the corners, which makes us a bit more competitive this weekend. Now we have to see if we can get some drag off the car to go faster on the straights."
