Live: Qualifying for the 70th Anniversary GP at Silverstone!

The front row of the grid in qualifying almost certainly going to be for Mercedes, but there's a lot more excitement for the grid spaces behind. Especially in the midfield, where we seem to have a good fight. Which men will manage to make it to Q3 Saturday afternoon?
Mercedes has a one-second lead over Red Bull Racing, while the Austrian race team has a three-to-four-tenths lead over its pursuers. The first three spots are expected to be given to Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen, but what the order will be behind them will be a surprise.
Racing Point, Ferrari and McLaren and Renault seem to be within two-tenths of each other on the basis of the first two free practice sessions. So here the drivers can really make the difference between fifth and eleventh place.
Pirelli's softest tyre isn't really usable this weekend, so most teams in Q2 will try to continue with the mediums to the final qualifying session. This will prevent them from having to start on the softs in Sunday's race.
