Albon: "I'm going to see what the team has to say"
Alexander Albon did not score any points at the Italian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen's teammate suffered quite a bit of damage to his floor, which meant that he finished in fifteenth place. Only Antonio Giovinazzi stayed behind him.
"I don't know exactly how much, we have to figure that out with the guys," Albon said about the damage he suffered at Monza in the early stages. The British Thai did not enjoy the race on Sunday afternoon. "It was a long race for us. We didn't have grip. I'm going to see what the team has to say. It wasn't fun."
A fifteenth place finish for a Red Bull car is not the way it should be. "No, to be honest, it's not. It was a tough weekend for us as a team. Without all these conditions it would have been difficult," he said.
Albon sees old employer win
It was AlphaTauri who took maximum advantage of the situation that arose on the track in Italy. "We are obviously very happy for those guys, but we need to focus on Mugello," he concluded.
